Once the third-party tools are installed and running, do the following:

  1. Unzip the REDCap install package and copy the 'redcap' folder into a desired location within the Web server's document root (e.g. '/var/www/html').
  2. From a Web browser, go to the REDCap installation page (e.g. 'http://hostname.institution.org/redcap/install.php') Follow the instructions provided there to finish the installation.


Instructions similar to the above installation steps can also be found in the 'Installation Instructions.txt' file that came in the installation package.
